Our Hirepool Vehicle Rentals teams provide expert advice to business, commercial and recreational travellers on a wide variety of transport options. Catering to both local short-term customers and larger long-term contracts, we meet the transport needs of everyone from big names in infrastructure, construction, film/TV and sporting events to independent contractors, casual weekend hirers.

The team in Wellington is looking for a Groomer to help ensure our vehicles are well maintained and ready for hire. Fleet presentation is key to the success of our business so you'll be playing a really important role in giving our customers a great hire experience. At this branch, you're part of a small, hardworking team so you need to be prepared to help out across all areas of branch operations.

What you'll do:

  • Keep the branch's vehicle fleet groomed to the highest standards
  • Occasionally delivering and picking up vehicles around Wellington
  • Ensure all the necessary compliance checks are carried out
  • Help identify and escalate any repair and maintenance issues
  • Answer phones - provide sales advice and quotes when necessary

What you need:

  • Full Class 1 driver licence
  • A basic level of computer skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable
  • Ability to work with a diverse array of people and build successful working relationship
